Hand Painted Scroll
These lovely scrolls are custom made, with hand-made papers, in India. Using watercolors and gold acrylic paint, I adorn each scroll with Jacobean flora motifs, birds, fishes, and insects. When each scroll is completed, I roll it up and put it safely away.
When you purchase a scroll, I simply choose one randomly and ship it to you. You are the only person who gets to unroll the scroll! Neither of us will know which scroll it is until you receive it!
The scrolls pictured here are shared as examples of some of my recent works.
These are one of a kind, original art works. I often use iridescent watercolors as well as traditional watercolors. The finishing touch of piping on gold acrylic paint adds a magical shimmer to the details. Even the bottom edge of the cover paper is hand decorated with a design so that the scroll looks extra fancy when it’s rolled up and tied.
